Who should attend MOS26?
MOS26 is designed for a diverse audience including government ministers and senior policymakers, marine scientists and researchers, conservation professionals and NGO leaders, ocean technology innovators, blue economy investors and business leaders, students and young ocean advocates, and media representatives.
When and where is MOS26 taking place?
MOS26 will be held from 11 to 14 May 2026 at APEC Haus, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
How do I register as a delegate?
You can register online through the Delegates section of this website. Select your appropriate registration category, complete the registration form, and proceed to secure payment via Stripe. You will receive a confirmation email with your invoice upon successful payment.
What does registration include?
Standard delegate registration includes access to all plenary and breakout sessions, exhibition floor access, the welcome reception, networking lunches and coffee breaks, conference bag and materials, and a certificate of participation. VIP registration includes additional benefits such as priority seating, VIP lounge access, and the private networking dinner. Please review each category for specific inclusions.
Is there a group discount available?
Yes. Groups of 5 or more delegates from the same organisation qualify for our Group Delegate rate of USD 1,200 per person — a 20% saving on the Standard rate. Each member of the group must register individually and select the "Group Delegate" category.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event receive a full refund less a USD 100 administrative fee. Cancellations 30–60 days before the event receive a 50% refund. No refunds are issued for cancellations less than 30 days before the event. Delegate substitutions are permitted at any time at no additional charge. Please contact us to arrange.
How can my organisation become a sponsor or exhibitor?

How do I apply to speak at MOS26?
Speaker applications can be submitted through the Speakers section of the website. We welcome proposals for keynote presentations, panel contributions, and workshop facilitation. Applications are reviewed by our scientific programme committee and successful applicants will be notified within 4 weeks.
Will sessions be recorded or live-streamed?
Selected plenary sessions and keynotes will be live-streamed and made available on-demand after the event. Breakout sessions and workshops will not be recorded. Registered delegates will receive access details in the week prior to the event.
What visa arrangements do I need to visit Bahrain?
Citizens of many countries can obtain a visa on arrival or eVisa for Bahrain. We recommend checking the official Bahrain eVisa portal for your specific nationality. Upon request, we can provide an official invitation letter to support your visa application. Please contact us with your full name, passport number, and nationality.
